Entre 03 e 07 de Fevereiro, decorreu, nas instalações da ESE-P.PORTO, as sessões presenciais do Blended Intensive Program intitulado Fablabs: cocreations hubs towards sustainability and innovation. Este BIP, organizado com financiamento do programa Erasmus+, contou com a colaboração de 4 instituições parceiras: Universidad de Vigo (Spain), Hellenic Mediterranean University (Greece), Universität Siegen (Alemanha) e Faculty of Commercial and Business Sciences (Eslovénia). Para além de reunir 22 estudantes de 5 nacionalidades diferentes, bem como a mobilidade internacional de um docente, este BIP juntou estudantes de diferentes áreas de conhecimento (educação, artes, engenharia e gestão de empresas). Assim, a metodologia de trabalho colaborativo, permitiu desenvolver ideias e prototipar soluções para verdadeiros projetos de cocriação, assentes na interdisciplinaridade e diversidade competências práticas dos estudantes envolvidos.
Segundo os docentes organizadores da ESE-P.PORTO, Pedro Rodrigues e Ricardo Gonçalves, “A ideia deste BIP era abrir as portas do nosso Fablab educativo, direcionado para o desenvolvimento de ferramentas didáticas, e treinar estudantes no uso das diferentes tecnologias de fabricação digital. Simultaneamente, queríamos enfatizar a importância atual dos Fablabs para diferentes áreas profissionais, demostrando a utilidade destes espaços para promoção da criatividade, inovação e prototipagem de soluções sustentáveis. Daí termos realizado também uma visita de estudo ao Fablab industrial da incubadora de empresas do centro High Tech Auto, em Vigo, Espanha.”
Tendo um formato de b-learning, este BIP terminará em Fevereiro, com realização da última das sessões on-line, onde serão apresentados os projetos de grupo desenvolvidos.
Between February 3rd and 7th, the face-to-face sessions of the Blended Intensive Program entitled Fablabs: co-creations hubs towards sustainability and innovation took place at the School of Education of the Polytechnic of Porto facilities (Portugal). This BIP, organized with funding from the Erasmus+ program, had the collaboration of 4 partner institutions: Universidad de Vigo (Spain), Hellenic Mediterranean University (Greece), Universität Siegen (Germany) and Faculty of Commercial and Business Sciences (Slovenia). In addition to bringing together 22 students of 5 di^erent nationalities, as well as the international mobility of a professor, this BIP gathered students from di^erent areas of knowledge (education, arts, engineering and business management). Thus, the collaborative work methodology allowed the development of ideas and prototyping of solutions for true co-creation projects, based on the interdisciplinarity and diversity of practical skills of the students involved.
According to the organizing professors of P.PORTO, Pedro Rodrigues and Ricardo Gonçalves, “The idea of this BIP was to open the doors of our educational Fablab, aimed at the development of teaching tools, and to train students in the use of different digital fabrication technologies. At the same time, we wanted to emphasize the current importance of Fablabs for different professional areas, demonstrating the usefulness of these spaces for promoting creativity, innovation and prototyping of sustainable solutions. From there we also made a study visit to the industrial Fablab of the High Tech Auto center’s business incubator, in Vigo, Spain.”
Having a b-learning format, this BIP will end in February, with the last of the online sessions, where the group projects developed will be presented.
